Three Mushroom Soup


  • 350 grams Majestic Mixed pack Mushroom

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour

  • 3 cups vegetable stock

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Oil

  • Cream, optional


  1. In a pan, add a tablespoon of oil and sauté the mushrooms in batches until lightly browned. Set aside the mushrooms.

  2. In the same pan over medium heat, add a little oil if needed then add the onions and cook until light and translucent.

  3. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, this will take less than a minute.

  4. Add the sautéed mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.

  5. Stir in the all purpose flour for 2-3 minutes to cook off the raw flour taste.

  6. Add the vegetable stock and stir and bring the mixture to a boil.

  7. Once boiled, reduce the heat and allow the soup to simmer for 10 minutes.

  8. Once done, remove from heat and blend the soup. If using an immersion blender, blend immediately. If using a jug blender, cool a little before blending.

  9. Transfer the soup to the pan and taste for seasoning and adjust accordingly.

  10. Finish off with a touch of cream.
