Mushroom Pastry

  • 1 pack of Majestic Mushrooms - Cremini

  • 1/2 cup leeks

  • 1/2 tbsp vegan butter or normal butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Evergreen Fresh's Thyme

  • 200g all purpose flour

  • 50g cold salted butter

  • 2 tbsp of cold water


  • Sauté mushrooms and Leeks in butter

  • Add salt, pepper and thyme

  • Let it cool down

  • For the dough; combine flour with cold salted butter and cold water to a crumble consistency and let it cool in the fridge for 15 mins before using.

  • Roll out the dough and fill the mushrooms filling and make pleats with the dough as shown in the photo.

  • Bake for 20 mins on a 180 degree Celsius.

  • Enjoy it warm!
